Swarm Bees

2 boxes full of bees have come off a couple hives from Tecumseh. We have not put eyes on a queen. They came a few days apart and it is not known if they came from the same or different colonies. After not locating a queen, the new swarm was placed on top in a brood box, with a top board and two sheets of newspaper.

How to Combine Bees

After one day I peeked in to put a couple holes in the newspaper. The top box has been busy creating queen cells. I placed an order for a new queen.
